The tragic events at the Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia have shocked and saddened all of us. The Calgary Board of Education sends our thoughts and condolences to the school, community and all those impacted by this event. Schools are part of the broader community, and we recognize the deep impact this tragedy has had. As educators, we share in the community’s sorrow and extend our sympathy and support to all those affected. Next week will be a short week due to Family Day holiday on Monday, February 16th.

Online Report Cards - February 2026
Families will be able to view, download, and print report cards online beginning in February. Kindergarten to Grade 9 report cards will be available starting February 24, 2026. Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information.
Parent/School Council
The next Clarence Sansom School Council meeting will be on Wednesday, March 18 at 6:30 in the school library. If you are unable to join the meeting in person, you can join the council meeting online via Microsoft Teams.

Drop-Off/Pick Up
If you drop your students off at the school:
• Please do not park or drop off students in the bus zone between 7:00 and 5:00 p.m.
• Please always use the marked crosswalks. (No jaywalking)
• Please drive responsibly and do not perform a U-turn in front of the school.
