Oki, Danit'ada, Âba wathtec, Tânisi, Taanishi, Bonjour, Hello, Sansom Community,
It has been wonderful welcoming our students back to school and seeing the energy and positivity they’ve brought with them as we begin the new year. We had a successful first week back, and we are proud of how quickly students have settled back into routines and learning. As always, the safety of our students, teaching and learning remain our core focus, and we look forward to continuing to support every student’s growth and success in the weeks ahead.

Parent/School Council
We invite you to join other parents and guardians for our next council meeting on Wednesday, January 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the school. If you are unable to join the meeting in person, you can join the council meeting online via Microsoft Teams.
Grade 9 Families
Grade 9 students will attend a presentation from their designated high school, either Lester B. Pearson or Nelson Mandela, on Wednesday, January 14th at Clarence Sansom. Please reach out to your child’s teacher, Ms. Payne (Student Services) or Ms. Olson (Grade 9 Learning Leader) if you have any questions.
High school course selection is coming up in the next few weeks, and several open houses are being offered to help you learn more about your child’s potential high school. We encourage you to attend these events so your child can become familiar with the school environment and so you can ask any questions you may have about courses or the school itself. We will provide more information about open houses and high school transitions to grade 9 families in the weeks ahead.
