Oki, Danit'ada, Âba wathtec, Tânisi, Taanishi, Bonjour, Hello, Sansom Community,
November is Diabetes Awareness Month.
As we returned to school last week, we are grateful to see our classrooms and learning spaces once again filled with opportunities for our students to realize their full potential. Thank you for your continued support as we restore regular routines for our students and our school communities.
This week will mark our first full week of classes, and we are eager to see our students back full-time in the classroom, engaging and learning. We will keep you updated on the progress of your child's learning and are here to support them every step of the way.

Remembrance Day Assemblies
As a school community, we will come together on Friday November 7th to honour and remember the courage and sacrifices of those who have served our country in times of war, conflict, and peace. To ensure a meaningful and age-appropriate experience for all students, grade-level Remembrance Day assemblies will be held throughout the day.
“Lest we forget.”
Transportation and Drop-Off/Pick Up
For students registered for the school yellow bus, you will have received your stop time and location information via email from CBE Transportation. More bussing information can be found on the CBE Transportation page.
If you drop your students off at the school:
• Please do not park or drop off students in the bus zone between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Please always use the marked crosswalks. (No jaywalking)
• Please drive responsibly and do not perform a U-turn in front of the school.
Thank you for continuing to keep all our students, families and neighbors safe. Thank you for your diligence.
Partners in Learning: Respectful, Ongoing & Effective Communication
We want to remind families that they are always welcome to reach out to the school. Communication about your child begins in the classroom by reaching out to the classroom teachers. This is the optimal way to connect about your child's schooling.
We are a welcoming, caring, safe, and respectful working and learning environment for all students, parents, and staff. As a result, in all communication between school and families, all individuals should be treated with dignity and respect, whether in person, over the phone, or via email. We have a common goal to ensure your child is successful.
While it is most optimal to first reach out to the classroom teacher, Mr. Steed, Principal, Dr. Amanwi and Ms. Nguyen, Assistant Principals, are available to work collaboratively alongside teachers to support students and their families.
Sincerely,
Clarence Sansom Admin
