Oki, Danit'ada, Âba wathtec, Tânisi, Taanishi, Bonjour, Hello, Sansom Community,
November is Diabetes Awareness Month.
We are proud to report that our first full week of classes (after labour action) went well, and it was wonderful to see our students fully engaged and settling into routines. Thank you for your continued support in helping students arrive on time and ready to learn each day. We will have a short week of learning next week, beginning on Thursday, November 13th, following our fall break.

Remembrance Day Assemblies
Our Remembrance Day assemblies on Friday November 07 were a meaningful success. We are so proud of our students for the respect and reflection they showed as we honoured those who have served and continue to serve our country. A heartfelt thank you to the staff and students who contributed to making each assembly thoughtful and enjoyable.
Drop-Off/Pick Up
If you drop your students off at the school:
• Please do not park or drop off students in the bus zone between 7:00 and 5:00 p.m.
• Please always use the marked crosswalks. (No jaywalking)
• Please drive responsibly and do not perform a U-turn in front of the school.
Thank you for your diligence in keeping our students and community safe.
Partners in Learning: Respectful, Ongoing & Effective Communication
We want to remind families that they are always welcome to reach out to the school. Communication about your child begins in the classroom by reaching out to the classroom teachers. This is the optimal way to connect about your child's schooling.
We are a welcoming, caring, safe, and respectful working and learning environment for all students, parents, and staff. As a result, in all communication between school and families, all individuals should be treated with dignity and respect, whether in person, over the phone, or via email. We have a common goal to ensure your child is successful.
While it is most optimal to first reach out to the classroom teacher, Mr. Steed, Principal, Dr. Amanwi and Ms. Nguyen, Assistant Principals, are available to work collaboratively alongside teachers to support students and their families.
Sincerely,
Clarence Sansom Admin
