Oki, Danit'ada, Âba wathtec, Tânisi, Taanishi, Bonjour, Hello, Sansom Community!

The school year is gaining momentum, and it has been wonderful to see our students settling nicely into their routines, classes, and learning environments. Our teachers continue to focus on getting to know their students, building strong relationships, and creating welcoming and inclusive learning environments. We are encouraged by the growth we are seeing in students’ sense of belonging and connection to our school community. There is also lots of excitement beyond the classroom - our soccer teams have been formed and games are already underway, while basketball games will be starting soon! These activities provide wonderful opportunities for students to get involved, build connections, and represent our school.

As September continues to be a month of transition, teachers are collaborating closely to review class placements and make any necessary adjustments to support student learning needs and maintain balanced classes. Once homeroom changes are finalized, realignment will take place on October 5, 2026. We sincerely thank our families for your patience, understanding, and continued partnership as we work together to support every student’s learning, growth, well-being, and sense of belonging.

Partners in Learning: Respectful, Ongoing & Effective Communication
Families should always feel welcome to reach out to the school. Communication about your child begins in the classroom by reaching out to the classroom teachers. This is the optimal way to connect about your child's schooling.

While it is most optimal to first reach out to the classroom teacher, Mr. Steed, Principal, Ms. Nguyen and Dr. Amanwi, Assistant Principals, are available to work collaboratively alongside teachers to support students and their families.
