Dear Clarence Sansom Families,

As the winter break approaches I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful winter break. This is an opportunity for families to celebrate, rejuvenate and come together. I truly believe the strength of our school is embedded in our diversity, and I hope everyone takes this time to be with the ones they care about.

I would also like to extend to a thank you for your ongoing support and the vital role you play in public education. I look forward to our continued partnership in 2025.

P.S. School resumes for students on January 6th 2025.

Respectfully,

 Glen Steed

Dear Clarence Sansom Learning Community,

My name is Glen Steed, and I am pleased to introduce myself as the new principal at Clarence Sansom School. I am excited to join a dedicated team of educators and a diverse learning community. I am looking forward to immersing myself into the fabric of the school and contributing to the success of every student.

In my previous teaching and administrative roles, I had the opportunity work in several schools from kindergarten to grade 9. These dynamic experiences have equipped me with valuable skills and knowledge and shaped me into the educator and leader I am today.

As we embark on 2024-25 school year together, I am eager to engage in teaching, learning and interacting with colleagues to ensure students are achieving their optimal potential. I believe in fostering open communication, mutual respect, trust, honesty and commitment to continuous improvement in our teaching practices to maximize student success.

Please feel free to reach out to me at gcsteed@cbe.ab.ca if you have any questions or concerns. I am here to support you and I am looking forward to getting to the school community.

Thank you for your dedication to our students and for making Clarence Sansom School a place where every student can thrive.

Respectfully,

Glen Steed
